Government of Telangana. 14 more categories of people with disabilities have been brought under the Aasra Pension Scheme. Previously, the Asra Pension Scheme beneficiary list included only 7 categories of persons with disabilities (PWD). Pension to all beneficiaries is Rs. 3,016 per month under Asra Pension Scheme. State government. According to the central government. Guidelines, especially some of these 14 new categories of people with disabilities, are eligible for reservation in employment and education.
In addition, some people falling under these new categories for disabled people are eligible for pre and post matric scholarship, marriage incentive, social security pension and economic rehabilitation.
CM KCR has not reduced the allocation of funds for welfare schemes. He paid Rs. 9,402 crore for the Asra Pension in the Telangana Budget 2019-20.
