How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication in Your Hosting Account

First of all you go to play store in your mobile phone type Google Authenticator and download this app.

Now you login to your hosting account on your computer, for example, we use Bluehost hosting here and if your hosting is from any other company then the process is exactly the same.

To login to the Bluehost hosting account, I will type bluehost.com in my browser and then search and then click on Login in the top right side and after entering the domain name and password, I will click on Login below.

After doing this, you will be logged into your hosting account. Now click on your profile icon in the top right side and then click on Security at the bottom and then you will see a QR code in the two-factor authentication section at the bottom.

Now open the Google Authenticator App in your mobile and then click on the plus sign in the bottom right side and then click on scan a QR code and scan the QR code given in the computer with your mobile.

As soon as you scan, the Google Authenticator App will display a 6 digit QR code for your Bluehost account, now you can enter it in the box with Google Authenticator token under the QR code on your computer and then click on Verify Token at the bottom.

After doing this, your Bluehost account is now secured from both sides, now next time you login to your Bluehost account, after entering the domain name and password, open the Google Authenticator App in your mobile and enter it with a 6-digit token. You will be able to login to your Bluehost account.

Note” Keep in mind that when you turn on Two Factor Authentication in your hosting account, you may not be able to login to your account for a while because this process takes some time to complete, do not be afraid that you will again after some time Login.

Change Password of Domain Account and Enable 2-Step Verification

If you had bought the domain name from GoDaddy, then we will learn how to change the password of GoDaddy account and enable 2-Step Verification. You can login to your GoDaddy account https://in.godaddy.com/ by entering this URL in your browser. Open in.

Now by clicking on Sign in in the top right side then click on the Sign in button at the bottom and then after entering your username, password, click on the Sign in button at the bottom and after doing so you will be login to your GoDaddy account.

Now your name will appear in the top right side, click on it and then click on Account Settings at the bottom and then click on the box with Login and Pin at the bottom and scroll down a bit, now you will see the Password box in the left side And in the right side a box of 2-Step Verification will appear.

First of all click on the Edit button in the Password box and then enter the current password i.e. the current password and then create a new but strong password and after entering it in the new password below, re-enter the confirm password below and Then click on Save at the bottom.

Now the password of your godaddy account has been changed, you must change it once in a month, now you enter your mobile number by clicking Enable in the box with 2-Step Verification on the right side, submit, on your same mobile number OTP will come, enter that OTP here and do OK.

Now 2-Step Verification of your GoDaddy account has been started and your account has been strengthened from both sides, now you want to login by entering username and password in this account, then you have to submit OTP on your same mobile number. Only then you will be able to login to your account.
