Benefits of Prochesta scheme
Many benefits will be given through the schemes launched by the Chief Minister of West Bengal: –
- The Chief Minister had announced that he would pay 2 rupees rice for free at Corona Airport.

Prochesta Plan Objective
The main objective of this scheme is to provide daily wages to all the daily laborers who are not able to get their wages due to the lockout announced yesterday by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the country. Through the implementation of the scheme, many benefits will be provided to the workers of the state of West Bengal. Primarily, the availability of financial support. Eligibility criteria for Prochesta Plan
To be eligible for the scheme, you have to follow the following eligibility criteria: –
- Applicant must be resident of West Bengal state
- Applicant should be a daily wage laborer / earner / laborer who is the sole bread winner of the family
- The applicant should not get the benefit of any social scheme of the state
- Only one person from a family is eligible
- Applicant should not have any other source of income

Applicants have to apply for the scheme in offline mode or on the official website. To apply you need to follow the necessary steps.
- Applicants can apply for this scheme by getting the application form free of charge
- Fill the application form with details
- Impress your recently clicked passport size image
- Read the declaration and sign the application form
- Submit the form to the same office from where you get the form.
Approval and transfer benefits
- The application is approved by the District Magistrate after verification by BDO in rural area, SDO in an urban area and Commissioner KMC in KMC areas.
- Approved applications are sent to the Nodal Department.
- Nodal Department will transfer the amount to the beneficiaries account

Prochasta Plan Payment Process
- First, submit the application form
- Then the application form will have to go for preliminary investigation and verification.
- The verification is done by the District Magistrate / Commissioner of Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
- Applications will then be sent to the respective banks for payment.
Payment Type
Beneficiaries will get a benefit of Rs. 1000 / – directly to their bank account. The nodal department will only give one time pre-wide approval after verifying the application. The nodal department will send the beneficiaries directly to the respective banks for payment.
