Unauthorized Colonies in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojna
The central government is going to implement the PM UDAY scheme to legalize illegal colonies in Delhi. PM UDAY refers to unauthorized colonies in Delhi Housing Scheme. Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has directed the Delhi Government. To complete officer processes and raise sufficient resources in a time bound manner. The scheme aims to provide ownership rights to the residents of unauthorized colonies in the national capital Delhi.

PM UDAY scheme to legalize illegal colonies in Delhi
The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi held a meeting with CS, DDA officials, Divisional Commissioners and DMC to implement the PM-UDAY scheme. In this PM Delhi Housing Scheme, the government in unauthorized colonies will legalize all unauthorized colonies with certain limits. People residing in these colonies will be honored / recognized with ownership / transfer / mortgage rights. Central government. Will operate in mission mode for successful implementation of PM-UDAY. Lt. Governor Anil Baijal has asked the officials to take action for the following things:
- Declaring related villages as urbanized
- Preparation of development control norms to encourage planned redevelopment
- Identification of vacant land
- Take measures to protect the land
Last month, the Union Cabinet approved the proposal to give ownership to people living in 1,797 unauthorized colonies in Delhi. This PM UDAY scheme to legalize illegal colonies is expected to benefit over 40 lakh residents of unauthorized colonies in Delhi. PM Modi said that Parliament will soon enact a law to give ownership to the residents of unauthorized colonies.
PM-UDAY Yojana Online Registration Form for Delhi Unauthorized Colonies
Below is the complete process to fill PM-UDAY Registration Form 2020 online by residents of unauthorized colonies in Delhi:-
- Go to the official Delhi PM-UDAY Yojana website of DDA by clicking at link https://delhi.ncog.gov.in/login
- Now lick at the “Registration” tab as mentioned in 1 number
- Upon clicking the number 1 i.e registration link, the DDA PM-UDAY Online Registration Form 2020 will appear
- Now you needs to enter all the information correctly and click at the “Submit” button to complete the registration process.
- After the successful user registration, an acknowledgment receipt will appear. People can can note acknowledgment number or take the print out for future reference. In single application, the applicant may also apply for rights against more than one property.
Delhi Unauthorised Colonies House / Flat Registry Application Form 2020
Here is the process to fill Delhi Unauthorised Colonies House / Flat Registry Application Form 2020:-
- After making registration, click at the tab mentioned as “File Application” which is shown as number 2 in the image shown above of Step 2.
- Then the Delhi Unauthorised colonies house / flat registry online application form will appear
- Here applicants can enter mobile number, click on “Send OTP” button and verify it to log in and fill the application form.
- The following information must be entered correctly to fill the PM Uday Application Form 2020. It includes a description of the property, a description of the land on which the property is located, a description of the owners of the property and the floor for which the application is made.
After filling all the required details correctly, click on the “Preview Draft” tab. Then after checking it, click on the “Submit” button after accepting the declaration, uploading the signature file and verifying the OTP.
Status of Delhi Unauthorized Colonies Application (Published / Rejected)
Here is the procedure to check the status of regularization application of Delhi unauthorized colonies: –
- Go to the same official website https://delhi.ncog.gov.in/login
- On the homepage, click on the “Publish Application” link as shown below:
- Then PM-UDAY published application status page will appear
- Here applicants can check their PM-UDAY case ID, colony name and number, applicant name, application submission date, address, plot number, of which the applied floor, road. Also, people can file objections by clicking on the “objection” link.
- To check the applications dealt with, click on the “application terminated” link as shown in step B). Then PM-UDAY Disposed Application Status page will appear
Delhi Unauthorized Colonies Regularization Processing Center
The DDA has opened 25 processing centers across Delhi to execute communication deeds or issue authorization slips. These centers will be run by Assistant Director level officers and other employees. Employees can perform competent functions and after due approval by the competent authority can issue an authorization slip after verifying the original documents in the presence of two witnesses.
In the entire process of presenting / recognizing property rights, this is the only stage where the applicant has to visit the DDA center. All other procedures can be done through e-portal which is functional at delhi.ncog.gov.in
DDA Help Desk for Unauthorized Colony Regularization in Delhi
For the convenience of applicants, DDA has opened 50 help desks across Delhi for unauthorized colony regularization. People can now see the help desk details in DDA offices. The location of the help desk and contact details can be checked using the link given below: –

Help desks are operated by experienced officers to guide applicants and are equipped with computer and internet facility to provide assistance to applicants who do not have the facility to submit their applications on the DDA portal. Applicants can go there for any information or help to submit their application.
Unauthorized colonies in Delhi Housing Scheme
The 3 municipal corporations will have to approve the urbanization of 81 villages for which the corporations will soon start the process. The detailed process requires DDA to demarcate boundaries or groups of unauthorized colonies. Then a local area plan is to be prepared and development of control norms for all illegal colonies. Later, the DDA will have to make necessary amendments to the Delhi Master Plan and the Urban Building Eye Laws for Delhi.
According to official sources, about 300 unauthorized maps will be put online. From 15 November 2019, DDA will invite suggestions and objections and by the end of December, DDA will accept applications from residents for these colonies.
The DDA will create a web portal and empanel agencies to fix the land co-ordination of plots for the purpose of notification. Field visits will be conducted for physical verification of the property. For this purpose, the applicant has to book a time and date slot on the web portal.
To provide ownership rights, applicants have to register on the prescribed DDA portal. This will be done by providing basic information and authentication of e-mail and mobile through OTP. DDA portal is going to display all the information and documents required for filing the application form.

The Union Cabinet last month approved a proposal to grant ownership rights to people living in 1,797 unauthorised colonies in Delhi, which is expected to benefit an estimated number of over 40 lakh residents of unauthorized colonies in the national capital.
The officers were advised by him for “successful implementation of PM-UDAY, by working in mission mode”, the statement said. The Lt Governor also asked the officers to take action to declare the concerned villages as urbanized, prepare development control norms to incentivize planned redevelopment, identify vacant land and take measures for its protection, as per the statement.
