Pre Matric Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

Under the scheme, scholarships are awarded to ST students of Meghalaya studying from IX – X within the state or from institutions recognized by the appropriate authority of the state, subject to the prescribed criteria.

Instructions to apply online for Meghalaya Pre Matric Scholarship 2020

  • First of all, the candidates have to visit the official website and www.megeducation.gov.in.
  • Then you need to select the “State Plan” section and hit the “Meghalaya” link.
  • Read the details carefully and hit the “Apply” link.
  • Follow the “New User / Register” option on the next page and hit the link.
  • Fill the Meghalaya Scholarship Form with correct details and hit register option.
  • Now candidates will get the registration ID on a new page.
  • Then hit the Continue button and you will see a login page.
  • Later, enter your registration ID number and date of birth and choose the login button.
  • After the login process, you will receive an OTP on your contact number.
  • It is mandatory to fill the bank details given in the Meghalaya scholarship form.
  • To create an online application at once, check and press the “Submit” button.

How can you apply ?

Follow the steps below to apply for the scholarship:

Step 1: Visit the homepage of the National Scholarship Portal and click on ‘New Registration‘.
Step 2: Read the guidelines carefully, select the undertaking and ‘Continue‘.
Step 3: Select the state of domicile, scholarship category, scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, write the applicant’s name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID.
Step 4: Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
Step 5: Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the ‘Register’ button.
Step 6: The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
Step 7: Now, log in using OTP and fill the form.
Step 8: An application ID and password will be generated. Use that for future references.
Note: All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill only one application as multiple applications will lead to the cancellation of the form.
