About Khelo India University Games 2020
The state of Odisha is already hosting various sports competitions such as Asian Athletics Championships, Men’s Hockey World Cup, Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships, FIH Series Finals and Hockey Olympic Qualifiers over the years. Now, the Sports Authority of India is going to organize Khelo India University Game 2020 in collaboration with Sports Authority of India and Department of Sports of India, Federation of Indian Universities, National Sports Federation and Olympic Association of India (IOA) and other participating universities.

Khelo India University Sports Venues
The event will take place from 22 February 2020 to 1 March 2020 at KIIT University, Odisha, Odisha. The event will feature 17 sports and a team event will also be organized. Around 4,000 athletes from around 80–100 universities, besides technical and support staff, will participate in the event. The registration process for this event has not started yet but will start soon.
Over the past few years, #Bhubaneswar has emerged as the sports capital of India hosting some big sporting events. The city is ready for another marquee sports event. The first edition of the Khelo India University Games will be held in the city next month.
