SWAYAM Portal Registration
SWAYAM is a program initiated by the Government of India which is actually designed to achieve the three cardinal principles of education policy which are-
- Access
- Equity
- Quality.
Purpose of NPTEL SWAYAM portal
The objective of this effort is to bring the best teaching-learning resources to all, including poor people. This SWAYAM initiative seeks to curb the problems of not seeking education for students untouched by the digital revolution. These are the students who have not been able to join the wave of knowledge.
Benefits of portal
The first and foremost benefit of the portal is the education that will be provided to all the students of India whether rich or poor, irrespective of gender and irrespective of age. In addition, the portal is hosting all courses taught in classes ranging from 9th grade to post-graduation. All courses are interactive, designed by the best teachers in the country. Those courses are available, free to any learner. More than 1,000 specially selected faculty and teachers from across the country have participated to prepare these courses.

Eligibility Criteria
- Internet connection is required to access the portal.
- You must have these following requirements to access the portal-
- A desktop or laptop
- A working internet connection
- Flash player installed
- The operating system must be from the following options-
- Mac iOS
- Microsoft Windows
- Android
- Linux
- Port 1935 RTMP or Port 80 should be open
- Browsers must be from the following options-

- Internet Explorer

- Safari

Registration Process For SWAYAM
- First, you have to visit the SWAYAM portal.
- When you land on the homepage, click on the “Register” button present on the top of the homepage.
- Login with your social media accounts such as-
- Microsoft
- You can also log in by clicking on the “sign up now” option.
- Provide all the basic details to create your account.
- A verification code will be sent to the registered email ID
- Click on the “Create” button after entering the details.
SWAYAM TEST
After successfully completing its list of courses under the Swayamvar portal, the next steps to apply are to check the test schedule and test dates. Regarding the syllabus exam marks and lesson schedule is uploaded on the SWAYAM portal every year, you can just click on the syllabus on which you are applying. A list of options will be displayed on your screen to view the exam schedule or exam results. The test marks will be notified to you after 4 or 5 working days. Also, if you want a certificate of your course, when you have to pay a minimum fee and you will be given a certificate or affidavit of your course.
