I am fond of reading good books. Books are indeed a great consolation in life. They are never our failures- friends they make us happy. Encourage us, expose us and inspire us so I love their company, I have read books on novels, drama, religion, philosophy and general science. But the book that has impressed me the most is the Gita. This great book has changed the lives of millions of people and women all over the world, it has left a deep impression on my mind. In fact, it has brought me back to the right path of life.
I read Gita only last year. I was inspired to read this book when I listened to a sermon. As I do not know Sanskrit, I read the Hindi translation by Gandhiji. When I went to the last chapter, I found myself a very changed man
The central teaching of the Gita is ‘do your duty and leave the fruit of your action to God’. One must do his duty honestly; Do not let anyone worry or worry about the outcome. A student’s duty is to study with heart and soul. If a person is concerned about the result, he cannot function properly.
