250 Words – Essay on A Visit to a Hospital in Very Simple Words for Students & Kids
A hospital is a place where patients are cured. It proves to be a refuge for the weak and sick. It presents a pathetic attitude as it is ever crowded with afflicted and sick people. Last Friday, I went to the hospital with my father. We went there to inquire after one of our relatives. I was just surprised to see a lot of patients there. I wonder why such a large number of people became ill. I asked my father about it. He only smiled and said, “Mostly it is due to a state of malaise. People living in unhealthy places are ready to fall ill ”. Somehow, we reached the surgical ward where our relative was admitted. To my surprise, it was also full of patients.
Some patients were crying and suffocating with pain, some were sitting on pillows and some were lying in beds. It was a pathetic sight to see patients crying with pain. A doctor told us, “All the wards of the hospital are sometimes full of patients. Many people are discharging daily but new patients take their places, so the hospital is full of them. ”Then we met our relatives and inquired after their health. They told us that the facilities at the hospital were very good. Doctors check patients twice daily. Hygiene conditions were excellent. He told us that most patients have been provided free medicines. The meals given to the patients were simple but nutritious. Meanwhile, the superintendent of the hospital came there to inspect the conditions of the patients. We met him praising his administration. He was a humble fellow. He thanked us for the compliment, after which we returned home.
