The National Scholarship Portal has invited online applications for providing financial assistance under the scheme for “Scheduled Tribes” and “Scheduled Castes” students. Post Matric Scholarship for Students Eligibility Criteria:

Complete Information | Parents income from all sources must not exceed INR of 2,00, 000.§ The scheme covers those students who have secured at least a 50% marks in the previous examination. |
The parent / guardian has an annual income of Rs. 2, does not exceed 50,000 / = and they are pursuing their studies in various government / private recognized educational institutions.
Documents / certificate for post matric scholarship
- Port size photographs are pasted on the attested application form by the Head of the Institution.
- Permanent Residence Certificate (State Subject).
- Income certificate of parents / guardian.
- Caste Certificate (Scheduled Tribe).
- Receipt of fees in original issued by the institution university.
- Promotion Certificate, (Renewal only case).
- Hostel certificate issued by Institution / Warden.
Important Notice: 30% sthe scholarship will be allocated for girl students. In case, the same number of girl students for the Post Matric Scholarship 2019 does not apply, the scholarship scheme will be provided to the eligible boys students.
PMS Selection Mode
Limited number of Post Matric Scholarship 2020 for SC class. Students who live below the poverty line (BPL families, are the lowest income) will be given preference in ascending order. The renewal application form will be completely shattered before new applications are considered.
Post matric scholarship amount
- Admission, tuition fees for classes XI and XII. : Rs 7000
- Admission and course / tuition fees for eleventh and twelfth level technical / vocational courses. 10,000
- Under-graduate, post-graduate scholarship amount: 3,000 p.a.
- MPhil and Ph.D. Amount: Rs. 1200 pm
Instructions to apply online for post matric scholarship
- First, check the eligibility criteria mentioned above
- After that go to the official website of the authority which is gov.in
- Then open and open the “State Schemes” tab in the top menu bar of the website.
- Then find the link “Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme”.
- Select ‘Apply Online’ link
- Then hit the “Post Metric Scholarship Form” link.
- Carefully read the information on Post Matric Scholarship 2020 available on the page.
- Now claimants have to hit the “apply” link.
- Then “Press New User?” Register ”tab
- All eligible claimants will have to submit the application ID and password to login on the NSP 2.0 portal.
- Now upload the recent passport size photographs, documents and certificates along with the application form.
- Finally, take a print out for the next process
