The All India Council for Technical Education has released the AICTE Progress Scholarship for girls and the Sakam Scholarship specifically for the differently abled student. Contenders whose profile match the eligibility criteria do not miss this golden opportunity and fill in the Progress Scholarship application form before the last date.
AICTE Progress Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
As per the latest official notification, 2 girls per family are eligible, which is not more than 8 lakhs per annum during the last financial year (in case of married girl, income of parents / in-laws, either higher, will be measured).
Participants must present the first year of the degree / diploma course at any AICTE approved institution in the current year.
AICTE Progress Scholarship Amount
Students will get Rs. 30,000 / – Books / Equipment / Software / Laptop / Desktop / Vehicle / Purchase Fee
Selection Procedure for AICTE Progress Scholarship:
The team members of the department will select the claimants based on the academic merit list in the qualifying examination. The choice of the selected claimants will be final and the request for revaluation will not be approved under any circumstances.
Documents required for AICTE Scholarship:
- Xth / XIIthMark Sheet
- Annual family income certificate for the financial year
- Disability certificate issued by competent authority
- Admit card issued by Directorate of Technical Education
- Certificate issued by the Director / Principal / Head of the institute.
- Tuition fee bill
- Bank pass book in the name of the student indicating the account number, IFSC code and photograph
- Caste certificate (SC / ST / OBC category).
- Aadhar Card.
The declaration by the parents duly signed off stating that the information provided by their child is correct and the scholarship amount will be refunded if found to be false at any stage.
Process to apply for Pragati Scholarship online
- Visit the official site which is www.aicte-pragati-saksham-gov.in
- Find the link “Register here” on the home page of the website
- Then fill all the registration forms with all the required details by filling all the required details.
- After that applicants will get ID and password.
- After that enter the ID and password and press the login button to fill the Pragati online application form.
- Fill all the required details like personal, family and income, education, bank and other necessary details.
- Then press the submit button and finally take a print out for futures
