The YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government, which will launch YSR Matsyakara Bharosa on Thursday, has decided to extend the benefits of the scheme to fishermen who have already benefited from Rythu Bharosa, Vahana Mitra and pension schemes.
Government of Andhra Pradesh will launch YSR Matsyasarosa Yojana on 21 November 2019. Under the AP YSR Matsyasarosa Scheme 2019, the financial assistance of mechanized, motorized and non-motorized fishing nets will be enhanced in the operation of fishermen. Fishermen now have Rs. 10,000 from the earlier amount of Rs. 4,000 for the annual fishing ban period between 15 April and 14 June.
AP Government Will extend the benefits of the scheme to fishermen who have already benefited from Rythu Bharosa, Vana Mitra and Pension schemes. CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will launch AP YSR Matsya Yojana at Komanapalli in Mummidivaram in East Godavari district on the occasion of World Fisheries Day.
Fishermen who have received pension benefits like Rayathu Bharosa, Vahna Mitra, will also get holiday assistance under the scheme.

Important features and highlights of this AP government. The scheme for fishermen is as follows: –
- 10,000 (previously Rs. 4,000) for the period of ban on increased fishing aid of Rs. 15 April and 14 June.
