The Social Welfare Department of the Government of Uttarakhand has notified an advertisement for the Uttarakhand Post Matric Scholarship 2020 for scheduled caste students of class 11 or above. The purpose of providing scholarships is to help the needy students of the minority class.

Eligibility criteria for applying post matric scholarship
- The student should be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
- They should belong to the SC class.
- They should have passed the previous year’s examination.
- They should study in class 11 or above.
- Family annual income should not exceed INR 250,000.

- Address proof (Aadhar Card / Voter ID / Driving License)
- Passport size photo

Selection Process
All eligible students can apply online only through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) website.
Scholarship Amount
- INR 1,200 / month (for hostels)
- INR 550 / month (Scholar of the day)
Procces to apply for Uttarakhand Post Matric Scholarship 2020
- Visti to the official website of NSP https://scholarships.gov.in.
- Hit the “New Registration” link.
- Fill all the required details in the registration form correctly such as student name, email id, mobile number, gender, etc.
- Fill the bank details carefully.
- Take an OTP on your mobile screen display.
- Use OTP to login.
- Complete the form
- An application ID and password will be allocated to protect it for the future.
- Take a print out of a copy of the last submitted page
