ONGC scholarship scheme for economically backward/General and OBC category-
Fifty (50%) percent Scholarship seats are reserved for girl’s students. Total 1000 numbers of scholarships will be distributed to all Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe aspirants who will be finally selected after the shortlisting meritorious procedure. Each scholarship worth is Rs. 48000/- per year and it will be provided maximum four years during student’s studies.

Eligibility Criteria-
- All eligible candidates should be a citizen of India belonging to SC/ST categories only.
- Candidates can apply for MBA/MBBS/Master Degree in Geology/Geophysics courses.
- Candidates family gross income should not exceed Rs.4.5 lakh per year.
- Candidates should have minimum 60% marks in 12th class and same need 60% marks in Graduate for availing this Scholarship benefits.
Important Note- 50% ONGC Scholarship is reserved for Girls candidates only.

ONGC MBA / PG Scholarship Essential Qualification-
- Candidates applying should be citizens of India and should only deny their studies in India.
- ONGC Scholarship is for those candidates who are pursuing full time regular courses by ISC / CBSE / MCI / AICTE / UGC / Associate Universities / State Boards of Education / State Government / Central Government.
- SC / ST candidates can apply for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Fellowship only.
- 50% seats are reserved for SC / ST girls.
- Candidates should have a master’s degree in Geology / Geophysics or MBA.
- Students must have a minimum of 60% marks in 10 + 2 standard and 60% marks in their graduate degree are required for post graduate courses like Geology / Geophysics / MBA.
- OGPA / CGPA (Overall Grade Point Average) should be a minimum of 6.0 in the 10 point scale of the grading system.
- The total annual income of the candidates should not exceed Rs. 4.5 lakhs or month income of Rs. 37500 / -.
- The age of the student should not be more than 30 years.
- Candidates should not avail any scholarship before any source.
How to apply for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Scholarship-
- Those candidates, who fulfill the entire criteria like education qualification / syllabus and others, have to submit their ONGC registration form in the prescribed form (application format).
- Candidates should fill this application form very carefully as per their educational and personal certificate.
- The scholarship form once filled by the candidates should then be duly verified and forwarded by the Head / Principal / Dean of the Institute / College / University to the address given below by 15 October 2019.
