Government of Odisha is going to provide e-certificate like caste certificate, income certificate and residence certificate. Now people do not have to go to Tehsil office or General Service Center to grab the certificate. The online availability of these certificates is very helpful for the citizens. The Odisha e-certificate project is one of the 5T models launched by Chief Minister Mr. Naveen Patnaik on 28 December 2019. The project is governed by the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management. According to department officials, this move of the Odisha government will be beneficial for about 5 million applicants every year. Now applicants can visit Odisha’s e-District portal and apply for various e-certificates. After the applicant’s application is approved, he can download the e-certificate from the portal or from his mailbox.
