Yuva Sahakar Yojana has been launched by National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC). The main objective of the scheme is to attract newly formed cooperatives that take advantage of innovative ventures especially for young entrepreneurs with innovative ideas. NCDC has launched a “Cooperative Enterprise Assistance and Innovation Scheme” in which cooperatives will be generous with inclusive, concessional funding assistance. The scheme has been launched with an annual outlay of Rs 100 crore. NCDC has already achieved an all-time high release of over ₹ 25,000 crore which is 210% of the current year’s target during the current financial year 2018-19. In the last five years (2014-15 to 2018-19), disbursements have increased significantly by about 222% as compared to the previous five years (2009-10 to 2013-14).

• All types of cooperatives with new, innovative and value chain enhancement projects which have been in operation for at least one year.
• If the society has been connected for more than 3 years, there should not be any cash loss in the last three years.
• If the society has been connected for less than three years, it should not lose cash in the last one year.

How to implement Youth Cooperation Scheme

• First, open the official website of the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC)
• Now click on “Application Form, Pattern of Assistance, Rate of Interest, Guidelines for Direct Funds”
• Select “General Loan Application Form” from the page that appears on the screen.

• Select loan activity / purpose and type of loan
• Click on submit option and application form on screen
• Download the application form and take a print out of it
• Fill the application form with necessary details and attach necessary documents with it
• Submit the application form mentioned at the regional office address or in the form
