Uttarakhand CM Anchal Amrit Yojana 2020 – For Children Studying In Anganwadi

The Aanchal Amrit Yojana has been launched by the Uttarakhand State Government for children studying in Anganwadi centers. This scheme has been run by the Trivendra Rawat government in the year 2019. According to the Minister of Women and Child Development of Uttarakhand, about 18 lakh children are malnourished in the state. So Anchal nectar plan is sure to run as a campaign to gain control of the problem of malnutrition in the state. Under the scheme, children studying in Anganwadi centers will be given milk twice a week.

Uttarakhand chief reason for introducing the scheme is to control the problem of malnutrition in children. The implementation of Anchal Amrit Yojana 2020 will also help in increasing the attendance of children in Anganwadi centers. Due to which the problem of malnutrition in children can be addressed as well as educated. The benefit of the scheme will be given to the children registered in the Anganwadi center of the state. With this cooperative campaign, malnourished children studying in Anganwadi centers will be provided proper nutrition in the coming years. Women’s empowerment and the Mukhyamantri Anchal Amrit Yojna Child Development Ministry has been declared a major step towards fighting malnutrition in the state.

Uttarakhand Mukhyamantri Anchal Amrit Yojana Details

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has launched Chief Minister Aanchal Amrit Yojana in Dehradun on 7 March 2019. Under this scheme, the government will provide free milk (100 ml) twice a week to children studying in Anganwadi centers. About 2.5 lakh children will get proper nutrition through this initiative, which will help in preventing the risk of malnutrition. There are about 20,000 Anganwadi centers in the state of Uttarakhand and children will be provided with scented, sweet and skimmed milk powder at these centers. In Uttarakhand, children between the ages of 3 to 6 years will get free milk under Mukhyamantri Achal Amrit Yojana.

Eligibility for Uttarakhand CM Anchal Amrit Yojana

  •     To get the benefit of the scheme, the name of the child will have to be registered at the Anganwadi center.
  •     3 to 6 years old children studying Anganwadi centers will get the benefit of the scheme.
  •     The children of Aanchal Amrit Yojana will get the benefit of all the children studying in the Anganwadi center of the state.

Key Features of Mukhyamantri Anchal Amrit Yojana

  •     Under the Aanchal Amrit Yojana, free milk will be given to children aged 3 to 6 years twice a week at all Anganwadi centers in the state.
  •     Provision has been made to provide 100 ml milk to children every time. In this way, 200 ml of milk will be given to each child in a week.
  •     Due to which there will be no deficiency of calcium, protein, vitamins and minerals in children. By which children will be physically and mentally healthy.
  •     Flavored milk powder will be made available by the government to Anganwadi centers of the state to distribute milk to children.
  •     Malnutrition will be eradicated in about 2.5 lakh children of the state through the Aanchal Amrit Yojana.
  •     There are total 20 thousand Anganwadi centers in Uttarakhand. All these centers have children of 3 to 6 BPL category before taking admission in the school.
  •     By getting free milk, the problem of malnutrition will be controlled in these children.
  •     To take advantage of Anchal Amrit Yojana, children from 3 to 6 years of age will be required to register a name at the Anganwadi center.
