Uttar Pradesh Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana 2019 – Free Training for Traditional Artisans
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Yogi Adityanath has decided to launch the Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana to promote the development and self-employment of all the traditional laborers of the state. Under the Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana, traditional artisans and artisans will be given 6 days free training to further improve their skills. The entire cost of which will be borne by the state government. Along with this, local artisans and traditional artisans will be provided financial assistance ranging from 10 thousand to 10 lakh rupees for setting up small industries.
Under the Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana, 15 thousand people will get employment every year. The Yogi government says that they will make every effort to make this scheme available to all artisans so that all traditional artisans take full advantage of this scheme and promote self-employment.

- Under the UP Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana, training will be given to labor laborers by the Department of Small or Medium Enterprises at the Tehsil or District Headquarters.
- Under the Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana, all qualified artisans will be given free training for 6 days so that they can get employment easily.
- The entire cost of all types of training provided under UP Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana will be borne by the state government.
- In this scheme, during training, the cost of living and eating of artisans will also be provided by the government.
- Under this scheme launched by the Yogi government, financial assistance will also be provided to artisans at the same time as the semi-skilled wage rate at the time of training.
- All the qualified artisans will also be provided with advanced type of tool kit as per their skill and trade on completion of training.
- Applications will be taken online for this scheme, which will be arranged by the Commissioner and the Director Industries and Enterprise Promotion.
