The Uttar Pradesh government is working on a modernization program for madrasas in the state. Under this UP Madrasa Modernization Scheme, the government aims to connect students with social welfare programs run by the government. Accordingly, UP Madrasa students will get training in National Cadet Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS).

The purpose of this UP Madrasa Student Training Scheme is to instill a sense of discipline in students. UP Madrasa Education Council has sent instructions to all madrasas in this regard.

The main objective of the UP Madrasa Student Training Scheme is to make the students technologically advanced and to follow the “Nation First” policy.

UP Madrasa Student NCC / NSS Training Scheme

CM Yogi Adityanath led UP government is always a supporter of madrasa modernization program. After coming to power, CM Yogi emphasized the need for both computer and ‘power Quran’ to the students in the madrasa. Now the state government will start providing NCC / NSS training to students in madrasas. Students will come to know the importance of brotherhood, discipline, secularism and selfless service in their life. NCC aims to inspire all for the nation. Madrasa students will now have the opportunity to pursue a career in the Indian Army.

Apart from education and training, students will get lessons to serve the nation. This training will expose young cadets to a regimental way of life that they need to develop the values ​​of discipline, duty, punctuality, serialization, smartness, respect for officers, right work ethos and confidence.

This training will generate interest in the cadets and provide them an element of thrill and excitement. In addition, NCC Training Defense Services will develop a work ethic characterized by hard work, honesty of purpose, honesty, ideal of selfless service, dignity of labor, secular attitude, comradeship, spirit of courage and sportsmanship. The board will also periodically check how many madrasas have followed the instructions.

NSS training is also very important for the all-round development of madrasa students. In its training, students will be made aware on community service activities such as prevention of social evils, environmental protection, sanitation, emergency or assistance for natural disaster.
