Uttar Pradesh Kisan Kalyan Mission was launched on 6 January 2021 by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. As said by the Chief Minister, the mission will help in increasing the income of the farmers of the state. To provide benefits to the farmers of the state, an agricultural fair will be organized by the concerned authority under the UP Farmers Welfare Mission. UP Kisan Kalyan Mission 2021
The UP Kisan Kalyan Mission was started by the Chief Minister for the betterment of farmers. Krishi Melas (agricultural fairs) will be organized at the block level under the Kisan Kalyan Mission. All the assembly constituencies will be included in this program. After the launch of this program, it is expected to work closely with various state level departments such as Horticulture, Mandi Parishad, Animal Husbandry, Sugarcane Food and Supplies, Fisheries, and Panchayati Raj. Farmers of the state can participate in various agricultural exhibitions and take advantage of the scheme. Various agricultural programs were organized in 303 different blocks of the state and next week agricultural programs would be organized in 303 different blocks.

UP Kisan Kalyan Mission Objective
The mission has been started with the objective of doubling the income of the farmers of Uttar Pradesh. With the implementation of this scheme, the farmers of the state will now produce more and earn more. Agricultural exhibitions will be organized at block levels and these exhibitions will provide information related to the latest technology that will help the farmer to use the best technology for agriculture. Hundred farmers of each district will also be honored under this program. Information related to various government schemes will also be provided in these events.

Felicitation to 100 farmers
The government will also honor the top 100 progressive farmers. These farmers will be selected as role model farmers from each district. A database of these farmers will be prepared by the government. Information related to the latest technology will be provided to all the farmers so that they can be benefited through this scheme.
