Recently on 5 November 2019, the government of Tamil Nadu state has launched an app for farmers. Projection Revenue and Disaster Management Minister R. B. Udhayakumarin is made by the Vedranium block. Name of PANNAI Mobile App (Insect Disease Advance Notification and Needs-Based Agricultural Information). The application has been developed by the MS Swaminathan Research Foundation. On the same day, Mr.R. Dorikkannu Agriculture Minister launched GEO Agri Portal. The portal is based on the geographic information system forewarning model for pest and disease management.

How to download PANNAI Mobile App
PANNI app has been developed for farmers. This app provides advice from ground to ground. The application has been developed with very innovative technology, likewise real-time weather data, GIS and remote sensing. This application can infer pests and disease and portends. This application has a very unique feature of land measurement of field measurement range (FMB) level. This feature of this application can give specific land wise advice based on automatic weather station. In addition, the app gives farmers a way to connect with scientific communities that can help them manage and monitor their farms. The size of this application is 51 MB. This Android version of 4.4 is required to use and with the current version 1.7.1. Follow the simple steps given below to download the application:
- Your mobile must have an internet connection to download the application
- Open Google Play Store on your Android mobile version 4.4 and above
- Now go to the search bar in the top of the home page of google play store
- To find an application, enter “PANNAI MSSRF”
