The aim of Kerala Subhiksha Keralam
On the launching program of Subhiksha Keralam, Corporation Secretary Beenu Francis stated that, in the previous scheme launched by the corporation, all the people were helped to get proper food facilities and now this new scheme (Kerala Subhiksha Keralam) was started earlier The Samridhi Yojana was extended only.
Under this new scheme launched by the corporation, more land and more workforce will be available for tapioca planting. The officials concerned say that this will increase the cultivation of the plant to more than 15 hectares. The purpose of the first corporation was to cultivate the plant on only about 5 hectares. This will be a major initiative to help the Earth become greener and healthier to live life.
Benefit of the scheme
Subhiksha Keralam vegetables will be cultivated in about 22 hectares and crops will be encouraged in 80% of the households. According to the information received by the authorities, 5.6% of the land falling within the city limits is ready for cultivation in the present scenario. In addition, designated communities will seek support land for potential cultivation for planting more and more types of crops.
In addition, the city has about 20 agricultural cooperatives that have decided to expand their production. Officials said that such cooperation would be more than sufficient for the successful nature of their plan. All development societies will be encouraged so that they can cultivate on a large scale.
