Lockdown restrictions and guidelines
- Citizens will not be allowed to step out of their homes unnecessarily
- Only essential services such as medical stores, clinics, hospitals, milk and vegetable shops will be allowed to operate.
- Night curfew will be imposed to control the spread of the virus
- All markets will be closed till further orders
- No big gathering will be allowed for funeral or any kind of function like wedding, birthday party etc.
- Weddings and funerals can take place with a limited number of people
- In some states, grocery and vegetable shops are also not allowed to operate in closed places.
- It is mandatory for everyone to wear masks and follow social distancing, failing which they will be fined.
- Section 144 will be implemented in various states to avoid gathering of people

- School-college will not open till further notice

Required Documents for E-Paass Regisration
The following documents are required while applying for curfew epass in your state:-

State wise process to apply for e-pass
To apply for the e-pass you need to follow the steps given below:-
- Go to the official website.
- Now click on apply for e-pass
- Now read all the necessary instructions related to the application of e-pass
- Click on ‘Select State to Apply e-Pass’ and select your state
- A link named ‘e-Pass Management System’ will appear on your screen.
- Click on the link and you will be redirected to a new window
- Now click on ‘Apply e-pass’ on the top right corner of your screen
- You will be redirected to a registration form asking you to enter your mobile number and captcha code
- Enter your mobile number and captcha code and click on generate OTP
- Now enter the reason for which e-pass is required
- Now fill all the required details and click on submit

The process to check track application status is given below:-
- Go to the official website.
- Now click on Track Your Application
- Then read all the important instructions related to tracking of application status
- Now click on the link ‘Select State for which you have submitted application’ and select your state
- Now select the option to track the application which is ‘Via Application Reference Number or Through OTP/Application Details’ and enter the captcha code
- click submit
- Your application status will be on your screen

Procedure to Apply for Lockdown Movement Pass With WhatsApp and Email
Many state governments are providing curfew passes through online mode. Applicants can also apply for curfew pass through WhatsApp and email. To apply for WhatsApp you need to send your details along with required documents through WhatsApp on the number provided by the state government. To apply through email you need to send the documents along with the information to the email provided by the state government.
Process to check e pass status
- You have to first go to the state website (links are available above)
- Then click on the e-pass status link
- Enter the information asked
- submit details
- The status will appear on the computer screen
Movement pass type
The movement pass currently issued to the applicant is of two types. One is for the citizens of the country in case of any emergency like medical treatment, death case etc and the other is for the applicants who are providing essential services like food supplies, grocery, medicines, milk etc.
Remember things to apply before
- Those applicants need not apply again for curfew pass who already have pass for essential services.
- The pass of applicants of essential service providers gets automatically renewed for the period of lockdown.
- Correct details have to be entered while applying for the pass. If any wrong information is given by the applicant then strict action will be taken against him.
