Karnataka Vidyasiri ePass Scholarship 2023 Amount Details-
- Rewarded Amount: Rs One thousand and five hundred(Rs.1500/-)
- It is an idea as approx 20,000 students will be benefited from this scheme.
- This scheme is for Pre/Post Matric as given for 10 months regular with no gap.
Karnataka Vidyasiri Scholarship
The Karnataka Vidyasiri Scholarship is awarded in three forms; Full course fee concession for PMS FAAS, FC and NUR, free hostel accommodation and Pritibha Award Scholarship for post-matriculation courses for SSLC / Secondary PUC by the government. Online applications for free hostel accommodation / fee for post-matriculation courses and Talent Award Scholarship Scheme for SSLC / Secondary PUC were made earlier. Now the active scheme for which the scholarship is going to be provided is full course fee concession for PMS FAAS, FC and NUR.
Full course fee concession for PMS FAAS, FC and NUR
Under this scheme, students will get the benefit of full course fee concession. Claimants who belong to SC / ST category have parents income up to 2 lakhs and those belonging to BC / PWD category have parents income up to 1 lakhs. Candidates should be a permanent resident of the state of Karnataka. The candidate should study in a post-matriculation course recognized by the Government of Karnataka and have 75% attendance.
Free hostel accommodation / fee for post-matriculation courses
Students who belong to I / 2A, 2B / 3A / 3B, Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe or Backward Class category, are permanent residents of Karnataka State, distance between school and home is at least 5 kilometers and parents’ Income does not exceed 2.50 lakhs are eligible to apply for this scholarship scheme.
Prathibha Puraskar Scholarship for SSLC/Secondary PUC
To apply for the Karnataka Vidyasiri Scholarship, candidates must be a permanent resident of the state of Karnataka and enrolled in government or private schools in the state. In SSLC / Secondary PUC examinations conducted in the month of March, participants should score more than 90%. The annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs 1 lakh, belongs to Category 1 for the candidates and does not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh for the candidates belong to Category 2A, 3A and 3B.

Eligibility Criteria for Vidyasiri Scholarship
- Applicant must be resident of Karnataka
- Only ST / SC / OBC is able to implement Karnataka Vidyasiri E-Pass Scholarship 2020 Scheme
- The income of the applicant family should not exceed 3 lakhs annually
- Only two students will get a chance to benefit from this scholarship as a parent
- It is not allowed to be enrolled in any other scholarship scheme being organized by the government sector to avail benefits for students of Vidyasiri e Pass Post and Pre Metric Scholarship
Note: The benefit of KV Pre / Post Metric Scholarship continues from 10 months and only 200000 students can be allowed to enroll in it; Out of which eligible students get only Rs. 1500 / – will be provided.
Who can apply for Karnataka Vidyasiri ePass Scholarship 2020?
Karnataka State Welfare Society is going to offer scholarship for the eligible candidates. Under the EPass scholarship scheme, students who are pursuing post-matriculation, such as B.Sc, BA, B.Com, BE / B.Tech or other courses, can apply for Karepass assistance. How do I know that I am eligible for e-pass Karnataka?
All applicants for this Vidyasiri Scholarship status must be eligible for these awards. These categories include;
- Applicant’s parental income should be less than 2 lakhs per year for both SC / ST / candidates
- The earning of the parents of the applicant should be less than 1 lakh per annum and the disabled of the backward caste, whose annual income does not exceed 1 lakh, are eligible.
- Students need 75% attendance to apply for the scholarship
- Student should be pursued in post matriculation in Government recognized Karnataka State
- Student should have passed all previous exams without backlog
