Note – Only that candidate is eligible to apply EPAS scholarship which belongs to a poor family and parent’s income should not exceed 2 lakhs. This is a great opportunity for those coming in minority groups like SC, ST and OBC. They can continue their work without facing any financial problem.
TS epass scholarship 2023
The concerned authorities of Telangana state have rejected some scholarship schemes for those who are not able to afford education. These scholarship schemes are mainly focused towards the poor people of the state and also for those who are financially backward and cannot afford to pay tuition fees or any other additional fees which are paid by the schools or colleges. Eligibility Criteria for the Scheme
To be eligible for the Telangana Scholarship Scheme, students have to pass the following eligibility criteria as mentioned by the concerned authorities: –
Applicants should be in the following categories –
- The annual family income of SC and ST class is Rs. is less than. 2 lakhs.
- The BC and EBC and minority category belong to rural area and the family income is Rs. is less than. 150000.
- The disabled category has parental income below Rs. 1 Lac.
- EBC categories that are selected under the Corporate College Admissions Scheme.
- The BC and EBC and minority category belong to the urban area and the family income is Rs. is less than. 2 lakhs.
The student should also have 75% attendance at the end of each quarter.
Non Eligibility for Scheme
Students who will not be eligible for Telangana scholarship schemes are mentioned below: –
- First, students who are not mentioned in the above list will not be eligible for the scheme.
- General category students will not be eligible for the scheme.
- All students pursuing part-time courses, online courses are not eligible.
- Students admitted under sponsored seats, management quota seats are also not eligible.
- Students taking stipend in excess of the scholarship amount in the total amount per year.
- EBC students studying intermediate or equivalent course
Scholarship amount
Under Telangana Apsis Scholarship, the following incentives will be provided to the beneficiaries: –
- Boys- Rs 100 per month for 10 months
- Girls- 150 for every month for 10 months.
Types of scholarships available
The concerned authorities of Telangana State are providing two types of scholarships to the students:
- Post-matric scholarship for students above 10th standard.
- Pre-matric scholarship for class 10th and below.
Post matric scholarship
In the post-matric scholarship category, the courses are divided into five groups. Information about each group is given below: –

Group-III
It involves the following courses-

- NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) courses
Group-IV
It involves the following courses-

- Vocational courses (Intermediate level)

How do I get TS ePASS scholarship?
