Top class education scheme award
- There are approximately 1,500 scholarships that will be awarded to deserving students.
- Shortlisted candidates will get the following benefits
- This scholarship scheme does not include reusable full tuition fees of up to INR 2 lakh per year for private organization
- Selected scholars will still get more books at the rate of Rs 3,000 per year.
- Adjustment stipend of INR 2,200 / – per month will also be given to scholars and 45,000 for latest computer / laptop with accessories like printer and UPS.

Eligibility Criteria for Top Class Education Scheme
- The applying Students must belong to the Scheduled Caste.
- Those candidates, who have secured admission in a notified institution, are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- The Total family income of applying candidate covering of all the sources must be less than Rs.4.5 lac.
- This scholarship is only for students of the 1st year.
- Here it is important to note that in case the number of scholarships gets crossed the number of students in the 1st year, then the same scholarship can be directly awarded to 2nd, 3rd & 4th-year students. However, 1st year gets priority over the 2nd year and so on.
- The students of the prescribed courses like BTech, MBBS, MBA, MD, MS, LLB, LLM are considered well qualified and valid to this scholarship
Selection Process of top class education scheme
As per the latest official notification, interested candidates will make the selection based on their educational qualification.
Processing to apply online for top class education scheme students:
- First of all, visit the official website of the department https://scholarships.gov.in/fresh/loginPage
- Then carefully check the instructions along with the application process
- Press on the ‘Continue’ tab
- After that choose domicile stage, learning category, scheme type, gender and enter details like name, DOB, mobile number, email ID, bank details etc.
- Then confirm your mobile number through OTP.
- After that, open your account by entering application ID and password.
- Finally, note the ID / Application ID and take a print out for the next process
