The Rajasthan government has implemented the Mukhyamantri Free Coaching Scheme in Rajasthan. This government scheme is for those students who are preparing for NEET, JEE examination. Previously, under the Chief Minister Free Coaching Scheme (Rajasthan Govt. Mukhyamantri Free Coaching Scheme), free training was imparted to the students who lived in the hostels of Social Justice and Empowerment Department, but now the scope has been extended under which all Students preparing for NEET, JEE exam can take advantage of this, but the priority will still remain for students staying in hostels.
Rajasthan CM free Coaching Scheme 2020 – मुख्यमंत्री निःशुल्क कोचिंग योजना
According to the amendment in the recently made rules, the scope of CM free coaching scheme has been extended to the divisional headquarters Ajmer, Bikaner, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, District Headquarters Sikar and Subdivision Kuchaman City Nagaur. This scheme will also be for students who do not live in hostels or government hostels operating in these divisions (CM Gehlot Free Coaching Scheme in Rajasthan).
Earlier, under the CM Ashok Gehlot Free Coaching Scheme in Rajasthan, only 500-500 students of Kota and Jaipur were selected, now the scheme will be for one thousand students of seven divisional headquarters and subdivision Kuchaman City. 30 percent of which will be reserved for girl students. On the basis of online application forms from appropriate districts, students will be selected from reserved category-wise merit.
CM free coaching scheme – eligibility and conditions
To take advantage of the Chief Minister’s free coaching scheme, the student fulfills the conditions, eligibility criteria for free coaching scheme in Rajasthan and the criteria otherwise he will not be given the benefit of the scheme:
- The student should be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
- The annual income of the family which was earlier 2.5 lakhs has been increased to Rs 8 lakhs.
- Students should have their Aadhaar Card.
- Applicant must be from the above mentioned cities or subdivisions.
- It is mandatory to have residential certificate.
This time, only Jaipur-Kota students will be prepared for law and management in addition to JEE and NEET examinations. There will be 50-50 seats for Ajmer, Bikaner for JEE and NEET exams, 20-20 for Bharatpur and Kuchaman City, 100-100 for Udaipur and Jodhpur, 250-250 for Jaipur and Kota and 160 seats for Sikar. . However, in the previous scheme, coaching institutes for law and management could not be found in this scheme.
Every year 15 lakh students appear for the NEET examination across the country and children taking 1.5 – 2 lakh from the state alone participate in this examination. Along with this, JEE Main gives 10 lakh students and about 1 lakh students of the state sit in its examination, so this step of the government is commendable. This time too, examinations like JEE are to be held in January and NEET in May, applications for the Chief Minister Free Coaching Scheme will be taken from December 15.
