Post-Matric Minority Scholarship 2020 for courses above 10th class available now. The scholarship is provided by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt of India. The students who joined the courses above 10th (+1, +2, UG, PG, M. Phil, PhD or Vocational Courses) can avail this scholarship scheme.

Minority Pre Matric Scholarship:
Minority students who are studying in government or private schools and need financial assistance will avail this scholarship and will get the amount from class one to tenth in India.
Minority Post Matric Scholarship:
Post matric scholarship includes undergraduate, postgraduate, technical and vocational courses in the industrial training institutes / industrial training centers affiliated to the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of class XI and XII.
Eligibility Criteria for Minority Scholarship Scheme:
- The scholarship will be awarded only to those applicants who have secured more than 50% marks in the last final examination.
- The income of parents / guardians of the appellants from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs (for post matriculation) / Rs. 01 lakh (for pre matriculation).
- Aadhar card number is required to apply online.
- Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains and Zoroastrians are eligible for this scholarship.

- Self declaration form
- Income certificate by the student. (mandatory).

Post Matric Scholarship Award

- For classes XI and XII: Rs. 7000 / –
- For technical and vocational courses: Rs. 10,000 / –
- For Graduates or Post Graduates: Rs. 3000 / –
- Maintenance allowance for 10 months in the academic year only
- For eleventh and twelfth classes including technical or vocational courses: Rs. 380 / – Rs. 230 / –
- Courses other than vocational and technical courses at UG or PG level: Rs. 570 / – Rs. 300 / –
- MPhil and PhD: Rs. 1200 / – Rs. 550 /
Process to apply for minority scholarship online
- First, check the eligibility criteria mentioned above
- Then go to the Minority Scholarship Portal, which is www.minorityaffairs.gov.in.
- Then find the ‘Scheme and Display’ tab in the top menu bar.
- Then, the list of scholarship schemes appears on the computer screen
- Hit on the online application in the appropriate section of the fellowship.
- After that upload the document if necessary and press the “Submit” button to feed the complete details.
