Modi government will give pension of Rs 3000 per month to workers (unorganized sector) with salary up to Rs 15000
The central government has announced a new Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana – PMSYMY) for non-recognized workers in the Interim Budget 2019-20. Under this PMSYMY scheme, the government will give a pension of Rs 3000 per month to all unorganized sector workers. All people working in the unorganized sector will have to contribute a monthly contribution of Rs 100 per month and then the government will provide a monthly pension of Rs 3000 to them after their retirement.
To take advantage of the PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana 2019, that person must be a worker in the unorganized sector. The salary of persons receiving pension under this government scheme should be Rs 15,000 per month or less. About 42 crore workers in the unorganized sector will be benefited by this scheme.
The Central Government has set a budget of 500 crores for the implementation of this scheme and very soon the process of online application form for PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana (PMSYMY) will be started.

Prime Minister Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana 2019 – Important Features
The Union Budget 2019-20 presented by Finance Minister Piyush Goyal on 1 February 2019 in the People’s Assembly, which brought a good news for the employees of the unorganized sector, in which the PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana 2019 was announced and the important features of the scheme are as follows. :
- Now the employees of each unorganized sector will get a pension amount of Rs 3000 per month.
- To avail PMSYMY, the salary of a person should not exceed Rs. 15000 per month.
- To avail benefits under PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana 2019, each employee will have to contribute Rs 100 per month.
- After attaining the age of retirement, all the applicants will get this amount as pension.
There is no age limit set in this scheme yet and there is also no period for jobs. This means that both recently employed or unorganized sector people can take advantage of this. Who Are Eligible for PM Shram Yogi Maan-dhan Yojana
The unorganized worker’s salary must not be more than Rs. 15,000 per month and he / she can beloong to any occupation as described below:-

Who can join the scheme?
To join the scheme one must satisfy the following eligibility criteria.
a) The individual should be an unorganised sector worker
b) The individual’s age should be between 18 years and 40 years
c) Monthly income should not exceed Rs 15,000.
Remember, individuals belonging to the organized sector or members of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), National Pension System (NPS) or Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) or income tax payers are not eligible for the scheme.

a) Aadhaar Card
B) Savings Bank Account / Jan Dhan Account with IFSC
C) a valid mobile number
How to apply Prime Minister Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana ?
To apply for an account under this scheme, the person has to visit the nearest CSC. Do not forget to carry your documents, ie Aadhar card, your bank account passbook and mobile with you. Make sure that the IFSC code is printed on the passbook of your savings account.

Alternatively, you can also visit the branch offices of Life Corporation of India (LIC), ESIC, EPFO and labor offices of the Central and State Government to inquire about the nearest CSC center.
In the common center, you have to submit a self-attested form along with the consent form for auto-debit facility. Both these forms are available in CSC only.
The person of CSC will fill a form based on the details available on your Aadhar card and your savings account passbook. After verifying the details, a one-time password will be sent to your mobile number.

- First of all visit at the official website to Re-Print PMSYM Card
- Enter your 12 Digit SPAN ID (Shram Pension Account Number)
- Click on proceed`
- Enter Captcha to generate OTP
- OTP will be sent to your registered mobile.
- Verify OTP
- Click on `Proceed` to print a card.
Amount of contribution
The amount of contribution you make will depend on your age. The contribution amount will remain the same throughout the period, that is, until the person attains the age of 60 years. The amount will be debited from your savings account on a monthly basis excluding the first subscription amount. The first subscription is to be paid in cash by the individual. After this, the amount will be debited monthly from the personal account.
Process completion
After the enrollment process in CSC is completed, an online pension number will be generated under the scheme. The CSC center will give you a print out of the pension scheme card. The pension scheme card will contain details like name, pension start date, monthly pension amount, pension account number etc.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Manthan Yojana, the Central Government has announced the online portal CSC for the implementation of the PM Shram Yogi Yojana Scheme online. The government has announced the registration process from 15 February 2019.
How to register PM Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana
- The applicant who wants to apply for the PM Shram Yogi Yojana scheme will have to visit the nearest Common Services Center (CSC) e-Governance Services India Limited (CSC SPV).
- Workers will be nominated by all the Common Services Centers in India.
