Due to lack of finance, not everyone is able to get information about the latest digital technology, especially in rural areas. Our Honorable Prime Minister has taken an initiative to give basic knowledge of the use of digital technology to at least one person from a rural area family, for this a new scheme called “Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Abhiyan Abhiyan” has been launched. PMGDisha Mission 2020

The PMGDisha Mission has been launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi with the objective of making at least one person in every family digitally literate. Under this scheme, 60 million rural people in the state / UTs will be digitally literate by 31 March 2020. Will provide training to people to operate computers or digital access devices. In the training program, people will learn how to send and receive emails, browse the Internet, use government services, search for information, make digital payments and many other things to enable them to use information technology and other related applications. This scheme is specially for SC / ST / BPL / Women / PwD / Minority people.

Eligibility Criteria of PMGDisha Mission 2020

Candidates : Must be non-IT literate and should not have attained the age of 60 years and should not be less than 14 years. Preference will be given: SC / ST / BPL / Women / PWD / Minority Applicants Non-Smartphone Users, Antyodaya Ghar, College Drop-Out, Participant of illiterate school students of adult literacy mission from class 9th to 12th

Training Partner: A registered organization in India doing business in the field of education / IT literacy has a Permanent Income Tax Account Number (PAN) for more than three years. Audited statement of accounts for at least the last three years. The partner should have clearly defined objectives. The partner must have well documented processes. The partner should have procedures covering the entire range of education / IT literacy training.

Training Program in Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan

  • Training of eligible candidates is of 20 hours
  • The duration of the training program is minimum 10 days and maximum 30 days.
  • The eligibility standards for training are as follows:
    • Basic terminology, navigation and functionality of digital devices
    • Access, create, manage and share information using digital devices
    • Use of internet browsing in an effective and responsible manor
    • Communicate effectively using digital technology
    • Cashless transactions using digital financial instruments like USSD / UPI / E-wallet / AEPS / Card / POS
    • Use digital locker
    • Online Citizen-Centric Services Use
  • Training partner will be responsible
    • Appointment or appointment of training centers in identified districts / blocks / gram panchayats for imparting training to beneficiaries
    • Ensuring that training centers follow PMGDISHA requirements
    • Accountable for monitoring the overall functioning of the centers under its purview
    • Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of work referred to the centers

Training Fee Of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 300 / – directly to the training partner / center. On successful certification of candidates trained by them, payment has to be made through CSC-SPV.

Documents Required PMGDisha 2020

The following documents are required to become a training partner under PMGDisha organization / society / NGOs:

  • Registration certificate
  • Proof of prior experience
  • At least 10 training centers list with complete information as per PMU provided format
  • PAN card photocopy
  • Income tax return for last 3 years
  • Audit balance sheet of last 3 years
  • Details of bank account of organization / society / NGO
  • Cancel check copy
  • Certificate of recognition
  • Notary affidavit

Procedure for registration in Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Abhiyan

To get PMGDisha certificate you do not need special training to get the certification, you can directly appear in the exam to get the certificate by following few easy steps given below:

  • Open the official website of Prime Minister’s Digital Interview Campaign.
  • From the home page, you have to go to the option “Direct Candidate Hear” given in the menu bar
  • Click “Register” option as soon as a new page will appear on the screen.
  • On clicking, a new page will appear where you will have to enter UIDAI number (Aadhaar number), name, gender and date of birth.
  • Now after reading the instructions tick the checkbox and complete the registration process.
