Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Government of India is inviting online application for urbanization through the official website pmaymis.gov.in. All interested and eligible candidates can apply online using their Aadhaar number by visiting this website.

Prime Minister Housing Scheme 2024 online application process
Two types of online applications are being accepted for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban. Interested candidates can apply for the scheme in any manner. Online applications can be made through any nearest Common Service Center or PMAY official website pmaymis.gov.in.

Online applications for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana can also be made through the official website, for which the complete procedure is given below.
STEP 1.
To apply for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana through the official website pmaymis.gov.in, visit the website through this link – pmaymis.gov.in
STEP 2.
After going to the website, select one of the options by moving the mouse over the link for “Citizen Assessment” in the menu. If you currently live in a slum, then click on “For Slum Dwellers” or click on “Benefit Under Other 3 Components”.
STEP 3.
After clicking this link you will see the next screen as given below. On this screen you have to type your Aadhaar number or virtual ID and in the next box type your name as written in the Aadhaar card and click on “Check”.
STEP 4.
If your Aadhaar number and name are correct, then you will have to open an application form similar to the photo below, in which you will have to fill all your information and click on the “Submit / Secure” button at the bottom. If the Aadhaar number is wrong, then try again by filling in the correct Aadhaar number. And if you do not have an Aadhaar number, you will not be able to apply.
STEP 5.
After clicking the “Submit / Secure” button, an application number will be given on your screen which you can print. Write this application number anywhere so that in future you can know the status of your application.

2. Through Public Facilitation Center
Latest news: Online applications have been closed through Jan Suvidha Kendras. Interested candidates will have to apply for the scheme by visiting their nearest Common Service Center.
To apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban, the eligible candidate will have to visit the nearest Common Service Center. To apply for the scheme many types of documents will be required which the candidate will have to take along for confirmation.
Documents and fees required : Aadhaar number and a passport size photo are included in the required documents. A fee of Rs 25 will be charged by the Public Facilitation Center for the application of the scheme.
After the application, an acknowledgment will be given to each applicant, on which the photo of the applicant will be given and the application number will be written. The application number will be different for each applicant, through which the status of the application can be found.

After clicking on this link, an eKyc application form will open in front of the picture below, in which you have to click on the “Next” button, enter your Aadhaar number and select the household monthly income and complete the further application process.
If the candidate does not already have an Aadhaar card, then Jan Suvidha Kendra will also help the candidate in getting Aadhaar. Only after getting Aadhaar can an application for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana be made.

Online application form for PM Awas Yojana – Urban
Interested candidates can apply online for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana by visiting any nearest Common Service Center in the urban area. Out of a total of 2 lakh CSCs, 60000 will be able to submit online forms for the scheme in urban areas.
The online application process for PMAY is e-KYC (No Your Client) enabled which means that the applications are submitted after verification of the candidate details.
The cost of submitting the PMAY application form online is Rs. 25. Common service centers will provide an acknowledgment receipt of the online application of PMAY in print. The acknowledgment receipt will also contain the photo of the applicant and a unique application ID which will help in tracking the status of the application.
Aadhaar card will be one of the mandatory documents required to apply online. However, if the candidate does not have an Aadhaar card, CSC will also help in getting the Aadhaar card for the candidate.
