The Pradhan Mantri Chatravriti Scheme 2021 for the wards of ex-servicemen / former Coast Guard personnel and their widows has been introduced by the Prime Minister of India. Under the PMSS scheme, the central government provides financial assistance to eligible students on a monthly basis. Under PMSS Scholarship Scheme with wards of Ex-servicemen / Ex-Coast Guard personnel, their widows and state police officers who have been martyred during terror / Naxal attacks / can apply for this scheme when they are in the higher first year. Take admission. Education eligible course. In the PM Scholarship Scheme, a total of 5500 beneficiaries will be shortlisted for Ex-Servicemen / Ex-Coast Guard personnel and their widows and 500 beneficiaries will be enlisted from the state police officers who have been martyred during terror or Naxal attacks.

Kendriya Sainik Board of India invites Pradhan Mantri Chatravriti Yojana 2019 application form every year for ex-servicemen, ex-coast guard personnel wards. Now from the academic year 2019-20, the Central Government has expanded the scholarship scheme and it includes wards of state police officers who have been martyred during the terror / Naxal attacks.

Eligibility for Pradhan Mantri Scholarship Yojana
- Minimum Educational Qualification (MEQ) ie 10 + 2 / Diploma / Graduate.
- A candidate must have a minimum of 60% marks in Intermediate.
- Only professional degree courses such as AICTE, MCI etc. recognized by the central regulatory body will be considered for scholarship.
- There are no civilian wards including para-military personnel.
- Ensure that the student is studying in the first year.

Scholarship amount under PM Scholarship Yojana
- The amount of boy’s beneficiary is Rs 2500 per month.
- The amount of Girls Beneficiary is Rs 3000 per month.
Silent Factors of PM Scholarship Scheme
- This financial amount will be given on a monthly basis.
- A total of 6100 beneficiaries will be covered under the PMSS scheme.
- KSB will invite scholarship application form only through online mode. There is no process to submit hard copy of any type of scholarship form.
- Duration of the scheme- Scholarship amount is given according to the duration of your course.
- Mode of Transfer Amount – The amount will be transferred through Direct Bank Transfer (DBT) mode

First step
- Candidates who want to apply for KSB scholarship scheme, first go to the official website.
- Now on the homepage of the official website, you will find the “PMSS Scheme” section.
- Under this section, you will get the option “APPLY ONLINE“.
- Click on the option and open a PM scholarship scheme registration form.
- Fill the first part of the registration form with all the required details as shown in the figure.
- Now fill the PMSS Scheme Registration Form Part-2. Observe all the necessary details.
Second step
- At the top of the homepage you will find the option to login
- Click on login option and open a new tab
- Now provide your username and password then click on the login button.
- After successful registration, now fill part three of the application form
- Upload all the required documents in the application form
- After successful submission, takes a print out of the application and reserves it for future use.
Renewed PM Scholarship Scheme
- Go to the official website and in the PMSS section you will find the “Renewal Application” option.
- Click on this option and open a new tab and now under the Renewal Application tab, you will also get the option to activate your account if not activated yet.
- After activating your account login with username and password.
- Fill all the mandatory details
- Look at all the filled details carefully and then click on the save button and proceed to the next level verification.
- After successful submission, takes a print out of the application form and saves it for future use.

- Now enter your “DAK ID” and enter captcha code.
