Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Rajasthan has started online applications for admission to government hostels and residential schools. People can now apply online by filling the government. Online registration form at hostel / residential school sjms.rajasthan.gov.in or sso.rajasthan.gov.in. The online application process for admission in new academic session 2020-21 in state and aided hostels and residential schools has been started in Rajasthan. The start date for registration is 20 May 2020 while the last date to apply online is 30 June 2020.

Below is the complete process to get admission in hostels and residential schools of Rajasthan government.

  • Go to the official website sjms.rajasthan.gov.in
  • All new users can register on the Rajasthan Single Sign On (SSO) portal https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/register link.
  • Government of Rajasthan Hostel / residential school online registration form will appear
  • Fill all the required details to register. All existing users can then login to the portal https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/signin.
  • Then Rajasthan government. Hostel / Residential school login form will appear
  • After login, click on the “SJMS application” link. If you have “username” and “password“, click on the “Existing User” link. If you do not have a username and password, click on the “New User” link.
  • Also, if you have lost or forgotten your username and password, reset your password by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

Important dates for applying online

Here are the important dates to apply online for admission in hostels and residential schools of Rajasthan Government: –

  • Start Date – From May 20, 2020, online applications will be accepted on the portal for admission to residential schools and state-aided hostels.

Last Date –

  • 18 June 2020 – Applicants can apply for admission to residential schools and government-aided hostels (school-level) from the new academic session 2020-21 to 18 June 2020.
  • 30 June 2020 – Students can apply for admission to college level hostels by 30 June 2020.

  • Applicant must be resident of Rajasthan.
  • In school level hostels, students from class 6 to 12 will be eligible.
  • Hostels college level, will be allowed, among other criteria students to graduation.
