Rajasthan government is going to set up an online labor employment exchange portal for laborers. The Department of Information and Technology (IT) and RSLDC have started developing portals for labor employment exchange to provide employment to migrant workers. With this online website, mismatched demand and supply of workers in the state will be addressed. Industrial units can raise their demands on the portal. The process of applying for laborers online by filling the workers’ application / registration form will start soon.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has directed officials to set up online employment exchanges to enable them to provide employment to workers during coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown. This employment exchange will meet the needs of industries by providing manpower supply.

It is the responsibility of the Rajasthan government to support workers during the coronavirus crisis. Apart from this, it is also necessary to ensure the availability of workers to bring the industries back on track.
Worker application / registration form
To ensure proper availability of laborers to industries and to provide work to labor, CM Ashok Gehlot has announced the launch of a new Rajasthan online Shram Rojgar Exchange Portal. Both industry and workers can register themselves in the exchange. As soon as the online worker employment exchange portal starts, we will update the process of filling the workers’ application / registration form here.
New projects of skill development should be designed to ensure that the skills of workers can be developed according to the current needs. The CM directed the Rajasthan Skills and Livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC) to provide short-term training to inbound migrants and prepare them for local industries. All data related to the demand and supply side of workers will be put on the Rajasthan Online Labor Employment Exchange Portal.
Due to the nationwide COVID-19 lockdown, a large number of migrant workers have come to Rajasthan and even migrated to other states. The Labor Department should provide training to the workers according to their qualifications and the requirement of the industries. With this, workers will be able to work in various enterprises and earn their livelihood. Industries can increase their demand with some skills on the portal. On the supply side, there are around 12.5 lakh registered unemployed in the state.

There are 4 lakh youth trained by RSLDC and we also have some youth who have been trained by Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs). There are 23.5 lakh buildings and other construction workers. So far, about 7 lakh workers have arrived in Rajasthan and 1.35 lakh workers have gone to other states.
