Him Care Yojana 2021
Ayushman Bharat Yojana was launched by the Government of India for the citizens of the country. This is a health insurance plan. Only citizens covered by secc-2011 under Ayushman Bharat scheme can apply. Himachal Pradesh Government has introduced Him Care Scheme for all citizens who are not able to avail benefits under Ayushman Bharat Scheme, which is not covered in secc-2011. The scheme was launched on 1 January 2019. Health insurance up to ₹ 500000 will be provided to the beneficiary family under the snow care scheme. All 5 members of a family can avail this scheme.
Date of registration increased under the snow care scheme
As you all know, the Snow Care Scheme has been started to provide health insurance to all the citizens of Himachal Pradesh. Under this scheme, all the citizens of Himachal Pradesh who are not being covered under the Ayushman Bharat scheme will be covered. Health insurance up to ₹ 500000 is provided to five family members through this scheme. If there are more than 5 members in a family, then two cards are to be made. Through this scheme you can get the facility of cashless treatment. Earlier, the last date for applying under this scheme was fixed as 10 March 2021, which has now been increased by the government to 15 April 2021.
Under this scheme, application can be made from the Health Department Portal of Himachal Pradesh or through Public Service or Common Service Center by paying a fee of ₹ 50. Aadhar card, ration card, mobile phone number and category certificate are required to apply under this scheme.

- Him Care Scheme has been started for all those citizens of Himachal Pradesh who are not covered under Ayushman Bharat Scheme.

It is mandatory for the beneficiary to be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh.
Beneficiary should not be eligible under Ayushman Bharat Yojana under this scheme.

Himcare Health Card Registration Online 2021
- Visit the official website of Himachal Pradesh Swasthya Bima Yojna Society
- Click at the “ONLINE HIMCARE ENROLLMENT” link or directly
- Here candidates can fill their ration card number. Candidates can then click on the “Submit” button to complete the healthcare online registration process.
- On clicking the submit button, your details will appear if you are already registered.
- Those who are not registered, can apply online for Himcare Scheme through ration card or fill their care card online application form (previous process)
- Applicants can correctly enter all the required details and submit the complete application form to complete the registration process.
Himcare beneficiaries can register themselves on www.hpsbys.in or through Lok Mitra Centers. Documents required for uploading under this scheme are also available on the departmental website. All the beneficiaries have to pay Him Care Card Fees from Rs. 0 to Rs. 1000. The people of HP State were unable to register due to the lockdown, so for the convenience of families, the government has extended the dates. Families whose cards expired on 15 June 2020 can also renew their cards by 30 June.
