The Directorate of Education (DoE) is inviting online applications for admission of economically weaker sections (EWS), disadvantaged groups (DG) and disabled persons in privately accredited schools in Delhi. Now all candidates can fill EWS / DG Admission 2020-21 online form at edudel.nic.in for entry level classes i.e. pre-school / nursery, pre-primary / KG and admission in class 1. The last date for filling the computerized online admission registration form is 25 February (3% seats for 25% disabled).
The eligible age limit for admission to nursery is 3 to 5 years, KG is 4 to 6 years and Class 1 to 31 March 2020 is 5 to 7 years. On the official edudel.nic.in website, candidates can register / login and delete the registration / application for EWS / DG admission 2020-2021.
Candidates can also check the list of schools recognized under DSEAR 1973 and schools recognized under RTE Act, 2009.

All the parents / wards must check the documents list before applying online for nursery school admission in Delhi:-
- Ration Card / Smart Card issued in the name of parents (Mother / Father having name of child).
- Domicile certificate of child /parents.
- Voter I-Card (EPIC) of any of the parents.
- Electricity bill / MTNL telephone bill / Water bill / Passport in the child / parents name.
- Aadhaar Card / UID card issued in the name of any of the parents.

- Finally, candidates can fill the remaining Nursery / KG / 1st Admission Application Form and complete the application process.
Candidates can click on the link – Deletion of Registration / Application Form (for deletion of registration / application form) for EWS / DG admission and request for deletion of data.

There is no application fee for EWS / DG category applicants for admission.
Can any other reserved category applicant apply for admission?
Yes, but they will not get any reserved seats and will have to pay all the fees applicable by the schools.
Is there any reservation for PWD candidates?
Yes. 3% seats are reserved for PWD candidate.
How many seats are there for EWS / DG category?
In private schools, there are about 1.25 lakh seats.
Is it necessary for parents to purchase a school prospectus?
No, parents are not forced to buy a prospectus. All they have to do is submit a registration form.
