Bhai Ghanaiya Seva Yojana is a self-help social health insurance scheme successfully running since 2006. The scheme provides cashless health insurance coverage of Rs. 2 lakh per family per year in experienced hospitals in Punjab and Chandigarh. In this scheme, all people can avail cashless treatment in all non-governmental non-governmental entities. The hospitals are reimbursed for the treatment expenses of the government in the hospitals.
