About One Nation One Ration Card

“To achieve the objective of national portability, it is necessary that the ration cards issued by various states and union territories conform to a standard format.   • For national portability, state governments have been asked to issue ration cards in a bi-lingual format. Apart from any other language (either Hindi or English) local language may be used.
  • The One Nation One Ration Card applicable online form will include the standard 10 digit ration card number. Of these, the first 2 digits will correspond to the state code, while the next 2 digits will be the ration card number.
  • Apart from these 4 digits, a set of one and 2 digits will be added to the ration card along with the ration card number to create a unique member ID for each member of the household.

How to apply for One Nation One Ration Card?

No ration card holder is required to fill any unlimited or offline application form under One Nation One Ration Card program. All the state and central governments themselves will be verifying the ration cards of the beneficiaries with the Aadhaar card over the phone. REPAT will make the data available under the Integrated Management Public Distinction System and will entitle all eligible citizens to get their share ration from any part of the state and the country.
