The new Arogyasri Yojana in Andhra Pradesh will provide an annual 2.5 lakh free health treatment to all citizens whose name appears on the Health Card / BPL (White, Annapurna and Antyodaya Anna Yojana, RAP and TAP) ration cards. It is 100 percent government money and there is no need to pay any premium amount to avail.
What is AP YSR Arogyasri Scheme?
It is a state government funded health scheme under which the state provides an annual health coverage of Rs 2.5 lakh to each family. The AP YSR Arogyasri Yojana covers serious diseases affecting heart, kidney, cancer, brain, burns and accident cases of 1040 surgeries / therapies in 31 systems.

The state government wants to provide better healthcare facilities to BPL families. This scheme will ensure better health services and reduce the death ratio in the absence of hospital facilities. Cashless treatment under YSR Arogyashree Health Scheme is provided to the beneficiary in a network hospital.
New Arogyasri Scheme in Andhra Pradesh
Free health coverage will be given in PHC / CHC / Kshetra Hospitals / District Hospitals and other government hospitals under the Chief Minister AP YSR Arogyasri Yojana. Any BPL family holding family members contact the above hospital to avail the benefits of the scheme. Vaidyamitras are placed in a network hospital for guidance and facilitation for cashless treatment.

How to Search Employee Enrollment Status
- Open the official website of Department of Health, Medical and Family Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh
- From the home page of the website you have to click on the “EHS” option available in the menu bar.
- A new page appears on the screen, click on “Search Employee Enrollment Status” under “Employee” section
- Enter details like employee name, date of birth, department name and DDO
- Click on the “Search” option and your status will appear on the computer screen
How to check YSR Aarogyasri Health Card Status
- Visit the the official website of the Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh
- From the home page of the website you need to click the “EHS” option available in the menu bar
- A new page appears on the screen, scroll the page go to the “Patients” option
- Click the “Health Card Status” option and a new page appears where you need to choose “Employee ID” or “Pensioner ID”
- Enter the detail in the given space and click the “search” option
- Your card status will appear on the screen of the computer
How to apply for AP YSR Arogyasri Yojana
AP YSR Arogyasri Yojana There is no separate nomination available for all White, Annapurna and Antyodaya Anna Yojana, RAP and TAP, all BPL families having valid white ration card are covered automatically from the day of implementation of the scheme.
