The state government of Madhya Pradesh has launched Mukhiya Kaushalya Yojana (MMKY) on mpskills.gov.in. The aim of the scheme is to provide free skill training to the women of the state. MMKY will raise the standard of living for women and focus more on “women empowerment”. Kaushalya Yojana is a state government funded scheme under which skill training programs for women are to be conducted as per the employment oriented national standards.
Under Mukhiya Kaushalya Yojana, the government will provide free skill training to women in various skill sets. The scheme aims to provide skill training to at least 2 lakh women per year starting from 2017-18. Interested candidates can register online on slsdam.mp.goav.ine, the official website of MP State Skill Development Mission.
Salient Features of Mukhiya Kaushalya Yojana (MMKY)
Below are some of the salient features and salient features of Mukhiya Kaushalya Yojana 2020: –
- By imparting skills, the scheme will enable women to obtain employment or generate self-employment.
- The skills will be given in non-traditional or traditional areas to increase the contribution of women in the development of the state.
- This scheme will increase employment opportunities for women in the state.
- The scheme will increase the work capacity of women after completion of training.
- The time period of training is 15 days to 9 months (about 100 to 1200 hours).
- Training will be given free of charge.
- The scheme will provide training to about 2 lakh women per year.
- Women belonging to Naxalite families are also eligible to be trained under MMKY.
- The program’s standards will be in accordance with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) to improve training quality and promote skills.
- Women who have left their studies due to family and social restrictions will have another opportunity to improve their skills and find a suitable job or job.
Eligibility Criteria for Mukhiya Kaushalya Yojana
Interested candidates have to fulfill certain criteria and documents given below: –
- a) Women should be above 15 years of age.
- B) The minimum passing marks should be in all subjects of the NSQF syllabus.
- c) Women have to submit some documents like Aadhar card, Voter card, caste certificate, training certificate.

Apply Online Mukhya Mantri Kaushalya Yojana (MMKY)
- Visit the official website
- click at the “Candidate Self Registration” link present in the main menu
- Here applicants can enter their mobile number and click on the “submit” button to get the OTP on their registered mobile number. Enter the OTP received on your mobile number to verify IT.
- Then a registration form will appear, fill all the details in the registration form, including the mobile number, Aadhaar number and other necessary details. Finally, click on the “Submit” button to submit the registration form.
- Later, the candidate will be provided with a registration ID / user ID and password. Now candidates can log in by entering the user ID and password and apply for Mukhiya Kaushalya Yojana (MMKY).
