MAEF Scholarship Eligibility Conditions
- All eligible candidates who have to apply under this scholarship programs should be from minority communities like Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist and Parsi.
- Candidates are required to present a Minority Community Certificate which has been verified with the competent authority on a judicial stamp paper before a panel of the Grants Commission.
- Must obtain admission and registration for regular and full-time M.Phil / Ph.D. Course in University / Educational Institution.
- The income of the candidates or their family should not be more than 4.5 lakhs per year and for this, they have to give a certificate certified by the competent authority at the prescribed Performa.
- Once minority students who are eligible for fellowship, they will not be allowed benefits for the same study under any other scheme of the Central or State Government or any other body like UGC.
- Not more than two students from a family can avail the MANS Fellowship.
- The actual payment of the fellowship will be made only from the date of joining.
- The fellowship cannot be transferred from one minority community to another.
Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of classification-selection merit which will be prepared according to the merit and other eligibility of the students.
