Madhya Pradesh CM Young Scientist, IT Employment Loan Scheme – Loan will be available at low interest rates on setting up an enterprise
The Madhya Pradesh government is going to provide loans to young scientists and youth at low interest rates to set up self-employment to promote employment in the IT sector. According to Chief Minister Kamal Nath, a low interest rate loan scheme is going on to promote employment in almost every sector in the state, but there is no such scheme for the IT sector and young scientists only. Keeping this in mind, this government scheme is being started in the state so that youths in IT and research sector can be established and move forward.
Chief Minister Kamal Nath has instructed the Departments of Information Technology and Micro Small and Medium Enterprises to formulate its action plan for implementation of CM Young Scientist, IT Employment Loan Scheme 2019-20. The government will announce the plan as soon as it is prepared.

During the assembly elections, the Congress had promised the youth that if their government comes to power, they will also expand services and schemes in the field of information technology. For which they will develop information technology centers mainly in every district. To accomplish this, the state government is going to give loans at a subsidized rate to one lakh unemployed people who are in the field of scientific and research or in the field of IT on New Year’s Day. In the Chief Minister Youth Scientist, IT Employment Loan Scheme 2019-20, youth will be selected at the district level.
Under the scheme, the youth who come from the field of information technology can avail the interest subsidy for the loan they will get, the rest will be paid by the state government itself. According to the Chief Minister, it has always been his endeavor that no such area of employment should be missed, which is not developing, in such a situation, his government is doing everything possible to meet the financial difficulties.
CM Youth Scientist, the main objective of the IT employment loan scheme is that more and more youth get involved in the information technology sector. Do new research work in this field so that new industries are established in the coming time. In such a situation, along with becoming young entrepreneurs, they will also be able to provide employment to the people.

- The applicant should be a permanent resident of the state, meaning only the youth of the state will be given the benefit of this scheme.
- Applicants must be at least 12th pass.
- Candidate should have some experience in Information and Technology sector / IT.
- Youth who are going to apply for IT employment loan scheme should not be more than 40 years of age.
- If the candidate has already taken a loan for employment and has not yet repaid, then he will not be eligible under this scheme.
This task of the Department of Information Technology is to be completed in collaboration with the Department of Micro Small and Medium Industries. Therefore, it is preparing to link it with the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana run by the MSME department. Under this, the State Government provides financial assistance to establish manufacturing or service related industries. This scheme will also provide such help to the youth. Under the scheme, the government will provide margin money, interest subsidy, loan guarantee and training to set up the industry.
