2) 15 November 2014 – Clean environment

- The dust bin should be washed with disinfectant after use and dried before the next use.

3) 16 November 2014 – Clean Self / Personal Hygiene
The objectives of the third day mission are listed below-
- Maintaining proper personal hygiene among school going children.
- Teach children about the benefits of bathing, washing teeth and washing hands.
- Schools should ensure availability of soap and clean water for hand washing.
- To inform children and Anganwadi workers about the proper way to wash their hands with soap.
4) 17 November 2014 – Clean food
The objectives of the mission under ‘Clean Food’ are listed below-
- Utensils used to prepare food for children at schools and AWCs should be thoroughly washed with detergent.
- Grains should be stored in airtight containers or bags in a clean and dry room.
- No food should be served by hand to children in AWCs or schools. Spoons with long stairways should be used for this purpose.
- Storage of any type of disinfectant, pesticide and other chemicals is prohibited in the kitchen area.
5) 18 November 2014 – Clean drinking water
The objective of the mission under ‘Clean Drinking Water’ is –
- Clean water should be used for cooking and other purposes.
- Water storage tanks and containers should be cleaned regularly.
