Kifayati LED Bulb Yojana 2020 is launched by Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL). The objective of the scheme is to provide viable power solutions to people coming from below poverty line (BPL), scheduled caste (SC) and backward classes (BC) backgrounds. PSPCL has raised a total of Rs. 8.63 crores for this Kifayati LED Bulb Yojna to distribute LED bulbs at the earliest.

Eligibility Criteria for Kifayati LED Bulb Yojna
- He should be a power consumer of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL).
- Applicant should belong to Below Poverty Line (BPL) or Scheduled Caste (SC) or Backward Class (BC) category.
- Applicant should avail electricity subsidy from PSPCL.
- It should accept a load of up to 1 kW (kW).

- LED bulbs offered in this low cost LED bulb scheme consume 80% to 90% less power.

- There is no chance of catching fire.
- These LED bulbs offered by PSPCL are environmentally friendly.
- No use of Mercury like CFL bulbs.
How to apply for Kifayati LED Bulb Yojna
Consumers can avail Kifayati LED Bulb Yojana by contacting the concerned PSPCL office. To apply for the scheme, applicants have to submit a copy of their current bill, identity proof and a self-undertaking. After submission of documents, applicants will have to deposit a nominal amount of Rs. 30. On successful payment, 2 LED bulbs will be given to consumers of BC, SC and BPL categories which they can use for their domestic purposes
