The Haryana Police has launched the Harsamy Citizen Portal online on the official website harsamay.gov.in. Digital signatures are integrated with Harsamai civic services. From this website, people of Haryana can now get Police Verification Certificate right from their home. These include character certificate, tenant verification certificate and police clearance certificate. This is another initiative of the Haryana Police towards ensuring transparency.
The main objective of launching this portal is to make citizen service delivery fast, citizen friendly, transparent and corruption free. The Haryana Police has now integrated digital signatures into verification certificates issued to citizens.

On this portal, people can apply online to get police verification certificate at their home. As a first step, the functionality to download digitally signed character certificates, tenant certificates and police clearance certificates from the Haryana Police Harsamy Civil Portal will be made available to the public. State government. It will also integrate other verification services such as employee verification, home support verification, threat verification with digital verification. People can then login to the Harsamay Citizen Portal and download a digitally signed verification certificate from anywhere as per their convenience.
Earlier, people had to visit the SP office of their respective districts to get personally signed certificates. With this change, people can distribute digitally signed certificates directly from the Harshay portal.
Apart from this, the police can now complete the entire verification process with their own verification and provide digitally signed certificate in Harshay portal. Citizens can login and download certificates according to time and place as per their convenience.
