Essay on Railway Station in Very Easy Words for Students

Travel is always attractive, it charms our mind and makes us happy. Travel is a relief in our dull everyday life. We feel relaxed and refreshed after a trip. It fills our hearts with peace. During the last winter vacation, I had the opportunity to travel from Dhaka by train to Rajshahi with my family members. My uncle lives there, we usually go to Rajshahi by bus. But at that time my father decided to go there by train.

It was November 13, 2017. We got up early in the morning and made preparations and got two rickshaws. It took about half an hour to reach Kamlapur railway station.

My father bought four tickets for the Ekta Express from the ticket counter. We boarded the train and found our seats near the window. Within minutes, the guard blew its whistle and waved its green flag and the train continued slowly at about 7.30 am. The train left the platform and slowly gained momentum. The window was opened and I could easily see outside. This train was moving at a great speed and was a fun twist. Village women were taking water pitchers, farmers were working in the fields and young boys and girls were shivering in the cold. All these left a lasting impression in my mind.

As it was an intercity train, it was not closed in many stations and not very crowded. When it was crossing the small stations, it seemed fast there were some hawkers selling boiled eggs, molasses and crust and fried ground walnuts. We had breakfast with our bread and boiled eggs. Later an attendant was ordered to bring tea.

Time has passed. During the journey, my father showed me an Indian settler at the hill station. I was enjoying everything around me that way we had passed ten hours and finally reached the monarchy. My uncle was waiting for us for a car. After exiting the station, it took only ten minutes to reach my uncle’s house. We were warmly welcomed.
