Short Essay on Our National Flag
India is a republican country. She has her own national flag. The flag has three bands. They are of different colours: saffron, white and green. There is Ashoka Chakra in the white band.
The three colours stand for peace, purity and power. They tell us that we should live in peace. We should love everybody. We should not fear from anybody. We should be strong and powerful. In the center of white band there is a wheel in navy blue colour. It has 24 spokes. The ratio of length and the breadth of the flag is 3:2. Its design was adopted by the constituent Assembly of India on July 22, 1947. We respect our National Flag. We all are proud of it.
