A street hawker is a common figure in India. He can be seen near schools, cinema-halls and public parks. He goes from street- to-street selling petty things every morning and evening.
Some hawkers sell sweets, others sell vegetables, fruits, ice-creams or some other eatables. A street hawker attracts the children in various small toys. Some hawkers ring a bell; some attract in a sing-song manner; other cry their wares at the top of their voice.
