Short Essay on A Prize Distribution Function
A prize distribution function is one of the most important events of our school. It is held in the month of February.
This year the chief guest was the Chief Minister. He arrived at 3 p.m. The Principal and the members of the staff received him at the school gate.
The function started with a welcome speech and the national song “Vande Mataram”. Our school band played the tune. Then a variety of cultural programmes like songs, dances and skits by students of different classes followed.
At the end of the function, the principal read out the annual report. The Chief Minister distributed the prizes to the toppers of each class. Then he made a short speech. The Principal thanked him and the function ended.
