Short Essay on A Drowning Accident
Last Sunday. we, a few friends, went to the surghat to enjoy swimming. Reaching there, we put off our shirts and jumped into the river. One of our friends, Rajesh, was not a good swimmer. He also entered the river. At fist he was near the bank. But after some time he went into deep water. He paid no heed to us. Soon he began to drown int the water. None of us dared to go near him.
We cried for help.
A passer- by heard our cries. He knew how to swim. He at once put off his shirt and jumped into the river. He swam very fast towards the place where Rajesh was drowning. Within a few seconds he reached there. He caught Rajesh by the arm and carries him to the bank.
Rajesh was unconscious. Water had gone into his belly. He was laid with his mouth and nose. Soon he came to his senses. We all thanked the man and returned home.
